Dexter offers charm and a community with a
great amount of pride in its downtown, schools and growing cultural options
Sitting at the cross roads of roadways connecting Washtenaw communities the
Village of Dexter offers charm and a community with a great amount of pride
in its downtown, schools and growing cultural options. From Dexter it is an
easy drive to Ann Arbor, Chelsea and Pinckney and is a few miles north of
Interstate 94. The summer in Dexter offers the Dexter Days community pride
parade with many vendors and lots of activities. A stroll down the main
street offers restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, and a real, long time
landmark in the community, the hardware store. In the fall, the cider mill
on the banks of the Huron River entices with fresh cider and warm, homemade
donuts. This growing community offers housing from the early 1800’s to new
subdivisions. For more information please go to
